New Students were welcomed in Nottingham by the BIBF.
I attended an event at the Indian Community Centre hosted by the British Indian Business Forum, welcoming Indian students freshly arrived in Nottingham to their new home in the city.
Students from both The University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University met with representatives from the civic, business and cultural world, hearing about the wonderful things awaiting them here.
It was a great success and I can not think of a better way to welcome students than the celebration last night. Let’s hope they are very happy here, and continue to strengthen bonds between our city and India.
