ICOSAL is the International Conference of South Asian Languages, an annual event to discuss the history, present and future of South Asian languages. A paper was given on the Hindi School in Nottingham: how it was set up, how it was built up and maintained by a dedicated team of teachers, parents and volunteers, and its aspirations as it enters its fifth decade.
